If we so readily associate love with freedom, why is our imagination of what romantic relationships might look like so limited? The creators of Amoria asked themselves this question and decided to pose it to the audience as well. Directed by Klaudia Gębska – last year's winner of one of the main awards at the Young Directors' Forum – the play, using a polyphonic and metatheatrical narrative, confronts viewers with various scenarios of togetherness and shows that monogamy isn't the only solution, just like worn-out communication patterns.

The starting point for the play is a scene from Joachim Trier's film The Worst Man in the World, in which the main character decides to end a long-term relationship in favor of love at first sight. Amoria proposes the category of polyamory for the heroine to consider and creates an alternative scenario for her, which in a funny, soft and subtle way builds a new, potential world and creates hypothetical (but possible!) situations, playing a love game between the viewer and the actors.
