The event is co-organized with Teatr Polski in Bydgoszcz as part of the Aurora Drama Award and the Premiere Festival.

 “Dark Room” was written on an iPhone as an attempt to record the biography of a young man whom the author met in 2017. The structure of the text was supplemented with an artistic concept and excerpts from transcribed interviews. The author revealed that the process of creation resembled meditation, during which the overall picture emerged from the recreation of a specific biography against the background of a psychedelic experience. Mikita Ilinczyk, born in 1995 in Minsk. He studied theatre studies (2012-15) and direction (2015-20) at the Russian Institute of Theatre Arts, staged performances in Russia, Belgium, and Belarus, and participated in the dramaturgy competitions “Write-Box-2016” (Belarus) and “Lubimowka-2018” (Russia).
