Can art be neutral? What are the con- sequences of failing to engage in social change? Which way is our future head- ing? Is what we see development or rather disintegration? Jurriaan Cooiman invites his guests with different expe- riences, from different countries and cultures, to give us a comprehensive breakdown of four potential scenari- os that impact our lives already now, ranging from development and con- sumerism, via catastrophic limitations, to potential transformation. Can art become a tool for change? What role does theatre play when it turns into

a space for political and social reflec- tion, if not downright of revolution? And what if empathy could be the „curren- cy” of art? Perhaps it is time: per- haps it’s time to define to define what a true transformation might look like.
