A discussion with theatre directors on the valid subjects of the transfor- mations and challenges facing Polish theatre today. We may only have three years to prepare it for a poten- tial black scenario and to secure it ideologically and systemically. Let’s consider how and at what cost the generational change is taking place (or should take place) on Polish stages. How to go on being a bold theatre after the recent political changes? Have the relationships be- tween theatres and their organisers and sponsors turned for the better indeed? What should we discuss with audiences, and how to run dialogue within the community? Can theatre be the subject of its own work, and how may audiences respond to that?
