The latest production at the National Stary Theatre is billed as a mockumentary with the director challenging scientific knowledge. What if Earth actually does look like a Frisbee disc? What if gravity doesn’t exist, and refugees keep eating our children? Dutch director Julian Hetzel, owing his fame to his social and political activism, creates spectacles balancing on the edge between theatre, music, and new media. His works have been staged in 20 countries, including at the Prague Quadrennial and the Venice Biennale.
