When do you the point when it is too late to change your life? Can old habits be abandoned forever? Is there a chance to break the cycle of violence passed down from generation to generation? In the performance, the director re-creates the heart-rending world of his father’s family, suppressed by the toxic defence mechanisms of none other but his own father. The play has two worlds, old and young, clashing. And they have more in common than we could be willing to admit.

Tadeusz Pyrczak is a fourth-year directing student of the Department of Directing and Dramaturgy at AST Kraków. He served as an assistant to Luk Perceval (A Long Day at the National Stary Theatre in Kraków), Maja Kleczewska (The Forefathers’ Eve at the Juliusz Słowacki Theatre in Kraków), and Krzysztof Garbaczewski (A Midsummer Night’s Dream at the National Stary Theatre in Kraków). Besides directing, he is an avid dramaturgist, video and lighting designer, and creator of visual ambiances for musical concerts.
