Creator and general director of the Fundación Teatro a Mil and the International Teatro a Mil Festival: Chile’s most important and largest festival of theatre, performing arts, dance, and music held in Santiago de Chile each January. In her work, Carmen Romero Quero focuses on promoting equal opportunities of Chileans in accessing cultural assets. Her endeavours support Chilean artists and audiences and open them up to the world, winning her state awards from the French and Italian governments.
