The world-famous director Luk Perceval has worked for the first time in Poland, with the acting groups of TR Warszawa and the National Stary Theatre in Kraków, creating an original paraphrase of Anton Chekhov's classic drama, told in different words, but faithful to the author's spirit. At a time when the trip to Moscow is no longer a problem, the three sisters recall their long-lost youth. The world is heading towards the final catastrophe, the heroes succumb to somnambulic convulsions, and have difficulty recognizing their reflections in a huge transparent surface. In the masterfully precise staging of Perceval, we get a new theatre of essence, Chekhov meets Kantor and Beckett, the performance overpowers us completely, giving us no chance for indifference. A great victory for team acting, because there are no more and less important parts here, it is a truly communal experience.
